In today’s economy, employers need strategies to help insulate themselves from legal liability from employees and governmental agencies.  There are 10 simple steps that companies can take that can help protect them from a lawsuit from an employee and/or from a governmental agency. These 10 steps cover the following areas:  consistency, hiring, training, addressing disabilities in the workplace, Handbooks, wage/hour issues, employee concerns, investigations, and the intersection of multiple laws.

Strategic Contract Solutions, Inc., a leader in providing comprehensive, custom HR solutions, will present these 10 steps in detail at its Fall Breakfast Briefing. The Breakfast Briefing is FREE of charge. Coffee and pastries will be served. We hope you join us!

On Tuesday, May 20th, the Sacramento City Council approved a financing and development plan for the Sacramento Entertainment and Sports Center (ESC). This landmark decision means the construction process for ESC will begin in the very near future.

The team at Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (SRBX) and Strategic Contract Solutions (SCS) has been selected to be the Local Business Enterprise (LBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) consultant to the Sacramento Kings and the Entertainment & Sports Center (ESC) team. In this position, SRBX/SCS will play a key role in accountability and compliance for 60% of biddable work from local construction firms and 20% of biddable work from small businesses. SRBX will be partnering with Turner Construction, ICON and our regional Chambers to ensure compliance.

SCS is excited to be part of this team to oversee compliance on the downtown Sacramento Kings ESC!
